100 Works That Belong To You

Across 5 newly commissioned films, #100 Works that Belong to You celebrates 12 years of acquisitions by the Outset/Frieze Art Fair Fund to benefit the Tate Collection (OFT).
100 works by 69 artists have been acquired for the National Collection by OFT between 2003 and 2014. This remarkable milestone and endeavour is summarised through interviews with involved curators, gallerists and patrons as well as studio visits to participating artists featuring in five short films.

Outset / Frieze Art Fair Fund to benefit the Tate Collection

The Outset/Frieze Art Fair Fund to benefit the Tate Collection is a unique partnership between Outset Contemporary Art Fund, Frieze Art Fair and Tate. The fund is supported by the generosity of Outset, a charitable foundation focused on supporting new art, and enables Tate to buy important work by emerging artists at the fair for the national collection. Since its inception in 2003, 100 works by significant international artists have been acquired. Each year Tate invites two international curators to work as part of the selection panel for the Fund.

'The donors to Outset all have a particular interest in enabling Tate’s acquisition of emerging and contemporary art, and we are very grateful to all the participants for their generosity.'
